Roger Cleveland signature grinds, new ZipCore iQ technology and enhanced all-condition spin arrive at Golf Warehouse on 21 September.
Cleveland Golf has launched the all-new RTZ 2 Wedge, combining more than 40 years of short-game expertise with refined sole grinds, advanced mass placement and dependable spin in changing course conditions. The new range will be available through Golf Warehouse stores and online from 21 September 2026.
Developed with direct input from Roger Cleveland, Cleveland Golf engineers and tour professionals, RTZ 2 is designed to deliver superior feel, reliable control and more consistent results across both centre and off-centre strikes. Every sole grind has been reconsidered, including the return of Roger Cleveland's legendary 588 grind.
Purpose-built performance in every loft and grind
At the heart of RTZ 2 is ZipCore iQ. Rather than using a single core design throughout the range, Cleveland Golf has created uniquely optimised, lightweight hosel cores for each loft-and-grind combination. This redistributes mass to support more predictable performance and tighter control across the face.
RTZ 2 is cast from Cleveland Golf's proprietary Z-Alloy, a softer, less-dense and highly durable steel engineered to improve feel, forgiveness and consistency. In Tour Rack models, the alloy's rust-resistant properties help preserve a cleaner, like-new appearance for longer.
Confident spin from the fairway, rough or bunker
HydraZip face blasts and laser-milled lines are dynamically configured by loft grouping to maximise and balance spin, including in wet conditions. UltiZip grooves use sharper edges to cut through grass and debris, while deeper channels create more room for sand, dirt and water to clear the impact zone.
The result is strong, consistent spin from a wide variety of lies - an especially valuable advantage when New Zealand conditions turn damp or unpredictable.
A grind for every short-game style
The RTZ 2 family spans 46 to 64 degrees and offers five sole options: Low, Adapt, 588, Mid and Full. Mid, Full, Low and 588 models feature a traditional head shape and grooves, while the Adapt grind combines a high-toe profile with full-face grooves for added versatility on open-face shots.
Golfers can choose from Tour Satin, Black Satin and custom-grind-capable Tour Rack finishes, with right- and selected left-handed options available across the range. Standard builds feature a True Temper Dynamic Gold Spinner Tour Issue steel shaft and Golf Pride Tour Velvet 360 grip.
