Richard Pegg

Golf has been my life since I began playing after moving to Wellington in my early teens. I first started golf playing with my father at 13 years old, then played with friends from school and never looked back I have played competitive golf the whole time from junior age right through pennants and representative golf for Wellington. These days it is more limited to representing Shandon Golf Club in pennants and club competitions. The best experience I have had is playing the Old Course at St Andrews in Scotland where the game began.

I have worked with Golf Warehouse since the beginning, starting off collecting the golf balls on the driving range and working on the 9 hole course with the grounds staff. After a while I moved into the shop and slowly worked my way up to the position I am in today. It is great to work with such a good team and to be able to help so many other people with their passion for golf.
