What began as two days a week on the shop floor at the Newton Road store, helping with merchandising, soon grew into something much bigger. As online shopping became increasingly popular, I transitioned into online dispatch — which has now become my main role within the business.
I’m currently based at the Mount Wellington Warehouse in Auckland, where I also support the customer service team part-time when things are quieter with online orders.
One of the things i enjoy the most working at the golf warehouse is the people. We have a great team culture at Mount Wellington, and there’s always plenty of laughs here which makes coming to work each day genuinely enjoyable.
As for my golf game — that’s still very much a work in progress… but being surrounded by golf every day definitely helps!
