Golf has been a lifelong passion for me, starting with a junior holiday program right here at Hutt Park Driving Range—before it became part of Golf Warehouse. I later joined Shandon Golf Club, surrounded by a strong community of talented golfers that shaped my early development.
At 17, I was accepted into the NZPGA and began my career with Golf Warehouse in 2003. In 2008, I moved to Auckland where I managed key locations including the Takapuna Driving Range, Albany, and the Newton Rd Super Store.
Over the years, I’ve become one of Golf Warehouse’s most experienced club fitters, helping thousands of golfers find their ideal setup. My training has included hands-on sessions with the best in the business—XXIO, Srixon, Cleveland, TaylorMade (including GEARS 3D Motion Analysis), and Callaway—often visiting their international fitting centres and going through their fitting qualifications.
Today, I serve as Golf Warehouse’s National Training Manager, leading the development of staff across the country. My role focuses on lifting the standard of product knowledge, service, and technical skill across all stores, ensuring our team is equipped to help every customer find the right solution.
I’ve lived golf at every level—beginner, intermediate, and professional—and I understand the journey firsthand. These days, you’ll often find me at the local parks and sports fields with my kids, but I still keep up with the game and love staying connected to the golf community.
Now based back in Wellington with my wife Natalie (our Accounts Manager) and our young family, I’m proud to be back where it all started—at Hutt Park. I love helping the next generation of golfers improve their game and sharing everything I’ve learned along the way.
